Patiently Waiting Will you leave me
beneath this lamp
on my own?

With a kiss on the cheek
and a tear in your eye,
you left promising to return.

You said it hurt to leave,
yet you did
and I didn't say a word.

I've been here a while now
it's getting cold,
the dew is settling upon the ground.

The old lamp flickers,
then goes out.
Now I'm here dark and alone.

I've realized now,
you won't comeback
the cruelty of naivety.

It's frightfully cold,
so I think I'll sleep
you can't leave my dreams.

Snow The Snow it falls upon the ground,
layer upon layer upon the ground.

The grass is hidden, concrete too.
Birds go hungry whilst we all play.

I pause a minute to stop and think,
why is beauty such a cold, cold thing?

The snow keeps falling all around,
heaping upon the cold cold ground.

I do remember long ago,
playing with you in the snow.

Now I'm here on my own
playing in the snow all alone.

At the end just like the snow,
you were cold and beautiful too..

Then you walked down the snowy road
leaving me on my own.

I might make a folder for fan art but I'd have to get most of the group to consent to it. Its just hard to make sure that its proper fan art for one of the comics in the group ^^
